  1. MOKE INSTALLATION

  3. This is fairly straightforward, but there are a couple of necessary things 
  4. the author neglects to mention.
  5.  
  6. 1. MOKE must be installed into a directory called KANJI, which must be 
  7. off the root directory, ie.
  8.  
  9. C:\KANJI is OK  but
  10.  
  11. C:\WP\KANJI is not.
  12.  
  13. Make a subdirectory called KANJI, CD into it and (assuming the distribution 
  14. disk is in the A: drive) unzip all the archives into it:

  16. A:PKUNZIP A:*
  17.  
  18. 2. You must generate the dictionary index file and reverse lookup table. When 
  19. inside the KANJI subdirectory, type the following:
  20.  
  21. WNN_IND WNNDICT
  22.  
  23. Then 
  24.  
  25. COPY WNN_IND WNNDICT.IND
  26.  
  27. To make the reverse lookup table,
  28.  
  29. REVTAB WNNDICT
  30.  
  31. (Note: This will take quite a long time!)
  32.  
  33. You can then run MOKE, but we suggest printing out the manual and various 
  34. README files first.
